BENCH TRIBUTES

SPONSORING A BENCH

There are many choices available in our park system. You can sponsor an existing bench, which will be refurbished with your donation. Or, you can sponsor a new bench, which will add an additional bench into the system at a location where one is needed. You can select one of our regional parks, including the Chain of Lakes and Minnehaha Parkway, or you can choose one of many beloved neighborhood parks. In all cases, we will help you customize a brass plaque and pick a park location.

The options, prices and terms, are listed below:

For neighborhood parks, for a term of 10 years, the prices are:
A refurbished bench: $1500
A new bench: $2500

For regional parks, for a term of 10 years, the prices are: (see list of Regional Parks)
A refurbished bench: $2500
A new bench: $5000
