About This Walk: This 2.3-mile guided walk through Theodore Wirth Park will be led by The Loppet’s Volunteer and Development Manager, Sarah Stuhr (they/them). On your journey, you’ll explore the history of The Loppet and the park itself, while learning about ecological insights and the local habitats that inhabit the park. Attendees will be able to connect with nature, community, and knowledgeable experts in one of Minneapolis’s most iconic green spaces.
When: Wednesday, August 12, 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Starting Location: The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Regional Park, 1221 Theodore Wirth Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55422.
Difficulty: Easy, paved trail. Accessible for mobility aids and strollers.
