About the Event

Sunset in the Parks is a new Minneapolis Parks Foundation fundraising event that features a beautiful summer evening of food, music, games, and socializing in a pop-up dinner setting at a Minneapolis park. This year, we’re excited to announce thatย Sunsetย in the Parks will be hosted withinย the park groundsย ofย theย historic Longfellow House, with exclusive access to the beautifulย Longfellow Gardens throughoutย the evening.

When: Thursday, June 22, 6pm – 9pm
Where: The historicย Longfellow Houseย and surrounding parkland

What to Expect:

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation will provide tables, chairs, music, yard games, photo booth, and a lovely park setting. You’ll bring your preferred food, beverages (beer & wine welcome), cups, utensils, & table decor including linens to beautify and personalize your experience! Tables will seat 8 individuals and are available on a first come first choice basis.

Pre-Fixed Dinner Basket:

Don’t have time to prepare dinner? As an optional add-on, we are offering a pre-fixed dinner basket. This curated basket is designed to feed four and will include an assortment of meats, cheese & crackers, fruit salad, nuts, olives, baguette, and small snacks, along with one bottle of wine and sparkling water. The basket will include utensils and cups, but no additional table decor.

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation transforms human lives through parks and public spaces by aligning philanthropic investment and community vision. All proceeds from this event go directly into supporting the mission and vision of the Parks Foundation to create equitable and accessible park assets throughout the city.
