It’s a GO! Join us Friday, June 7, 4-8pm for Get Outdoors Day

Get Outdoors Day (GO Day) is an everyone-is-welcome free festival that introduces kids and families to exciting ways they can enjoy the great outdoors. This year’s event is 4:00-8:00pm, Friday, June 7, at Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis. Festivities happen – rain or shine – south of Powderhorn Lake near the recreation center at 3400 15th Ave. S.

Among the activities you can try are:

Archery 🏹  Arts & Crafts 🎨  Biking 🚲   Birding 🦅

Camping 🏕  Canoeing 🛶  Climbing 🧗🏽‍♀️

Fishing 🎣   Tree Planting 🌳  Yoga 🧘🏿‍♀️

All activities at GO Day are free and registration is not required. You’ll enjoy live music; food will be available for purchase from local food trucks.

There is nearby on-street parking. Powderhorn Park is also conveniently located on bike and bus routes and near the 35th/36th St. exits off of 35W. Find additional details on Facebook.

Let’s GO Scouting!
Make your first GO Day stop the Minneapolis Parks Foundation’s table, where you can pick up your own “Activity Scout” bingo card. Designed to encourage exploration of activities throughout the event, kids are invited to collect six stamps from different stations to win a prize.
